Suyes led a Continuing Legal Education webinar co-sponsored by the Virginia State Bar and the Legal Information Network for Cancer on June 19, 2014, entitled Meeting the Legal Needs of Clients Facing Serious Illness: Social Security Disability Benefits. The webinar provided participants with an overview of the laws governing Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income, including eligibility requirements, handling social security claims and the appeals process.
